Goomo's Birthday
Goomo's Birthday is the 30th episode of Jelly Jamm. It's Goomo's birthday and his hopes are high. Unfortunately, he wakes to find his precious helmet missing! On top of that his friends are acting strangely and they all appear to have forgotten all about his birthday. Goomo would be happy to have things simply return to normal. Luckily, he's in for a surprise that could make this day a very special one indeed.
Summary[]
The episode begins with Goomo reading a bedtime story to his helmet. During the night, a mysterious pair of hands takes the helmet and replaces it with a dodo. When Goomo wakes up in the morning, he remembers that it is his birthday and starts dancing, until he realizes he is wearing a dodo on his head. He rushes outside in a state of panic and finds Bello. Bello claims he didn't know Goomo even had a helmet and doesn't know what day it is either. The two friends go to ask Mina if she knows where Goomo's helmet is, but her response is the same as Bello's. Goomo notices their strange behaviour and gets suspicious. Mina suggests he looks somewhere else, and so he asks the Queen, Ongo, and several others, but nobody knows where his helmet is and it seems they have all forgotten his birthday too. Goomo gets angry and yells at Bello, until Rita shows up and tells him that she remembers what day it is. Bello makes frantic gestures behind Goomo's back, pretending he was dancing when Goomo notices. A dodo brings Bello a note. He reads it and then suggests to Goomo that he should go home because he is tired. Goomo storms off and sadly enters his dark house. Suddenly, the lights flicker on and all of his friends shout 'surprise!'. Bello tells Goomo he would never forget his best friend's birthday, and they hug. Last but not least, Bello gives Goomo a present - his helmet! It turns out Bello had taken it and Mina had made some improvements, such as a disco ball. Everybody dances as music plays and the disco ball fills the house with color.
